Our History
My Safe Home was founded with a singular vision: to provide a loving, protective home for orphaned and vulnerable children in Nigeria. What started as a small initiative to care for a handful of children has grown into a comprehensive facility serving hundreds of lives.
Over the years, we have expanded our services to include assisted living support for vulnerable individuals, educational sponsorship programs, healthcare initiatives, and community outreach efforts that extend our impact beyond our facility walls.
Today, My Safe Home stands as a beacon of hope in Akwa-Ibom State, Nigeria — a testament to the power of compassion, community, and the belief that every child matters.

Our Facility
Our facility is a comfortable three-bedroom apartment designed to provide a safe, secure, clean, and nurturing environment for vulnerable children. Every child is provided with their own bunk bed, ensuring they have a safe place to sleep and a roof over their heads.
The home is located just a few minutes from local schools, allowing children easy access to quality education and reducing transportation challenges.
We also prioritize the health and wellbeing of every child. Healthcare professionals regularly visit the home to monitor the children's health, and a nearby hospital is only a short distance away whenever urgent medical care is required.
While some of our children are still awaiting full medical insurance coverage, we remain committed to ensuring they receive the care they need. Any financial support towards healthcare expenses would make a significant difference.
More than just providing shelter, our home is a place where every child is treated with dignity, respect, love, and compassion. We strive to create an environment where every child feels safe, valued, supported, and truly at home.
